Discover beauty of Indonesia
While traveling with the Master Lin and Grandmaster Tio
Dear Martial Artists and Friends,
Would you like to learn Kungfu while traveling in exotic lands? Well now
is your chance.
I’d like to take this opportunity for you to join me in our Kungfu
Indonesia 2010 trip. This will be your chance to learn Kungfu while
traveling in the exotic county of Indonesia
My name is Suhu Lin and I’m the chief Instructor of Shaolin Kungfu
Center; Headquarter of HKB Eng Chun [Black Flag Wing Chun], in
Fredericksburg, Virginia. I invite you to participate in a once in a
lifetime adventure, our Kungfu Indonesia 2010 trip.
Now is your chance to experience the beauty of Indonesia and to visit
the last home of Black Flag Wing Chun Kung Fu. You’ll be practicing
with kungfu brothers and sisters from our lineage. You’ll also have the
chance to train with other practitioners of different Chinese kungfu
systems and backgrounds which also survived the Indonesian political ban
of Chinese culture.
The main objective of this trip is to visit the last “home” of the Black
Flag Wing Chun system in Surabaya, Indonesia as it was brought there by
the last Chief Instructor of HKB Eng Chun [Black Flag Wing Chun], Kong
Co Tjia Fun Tjiao.
Along the way, we will visit the many “paradises of the world” while
we get a chance to be trained by Grandmaster Tio. He will be traveling
and training with us at each location we visit. And an added plus is
that we will be staying at the most exotic hotels, and have the
opportunity to try mouth-watering Authentic Indonesia cuisine. For those
that wish to stay longer in Indonesia, trips can be custom-tailored.
Don’t miss this once in a lifetime opportunity! This will be one of the
most fun and memorable trips of your life that you can tell your friends
about.

To truly understand and value the system of HKB Eng Chun [Black Flag
Wing Chun], Grand Master Tio feels that everyone should take the time
and effort to become educated on the history and culture of China, which
gave rise to the Shaolin Wing Chun system we know today.
During the Ming/Qing
transition of the 1600s, the Shaolin Temple was burned down. This caused
the development of many secret societies. Through the Black Flag Secret
Society, one of the original Shaolin Wing Chun still survived. Ever
since Kong Co Tjia (Last Chief Instructor of Black Flag) escaped to
Indonesia, Indonesia has become the final home of the treasure of
Shaolin, Black Flag Wing Chun.
As a student and instructor in Wing Chun, I know the importance of
understanding the background/origin in order to understand the technical
aspects of the system. The best way to learn this is through direct
experience. Unfortunately, when it comes to history, all we can do is
study the oral history left behind for us. However:
-
What if you would walk the same streets, see the same sites, and visit the same places as our martial art forefathers?
-
What if you could visit and work out with the current generation of HKB Eng Chun Members in Indonesia!
-
What if you could visit the HKB Eng Chun Bukoan (Training Center) in both Probolinggo (Sifu Lin's Suhu) & Surabaya (Sifu Lin's Supek.
-
What if you could visit Sujo [Great Grand Master] King Yang’s old house that he used to live in and meet his family/descendants?
What if you could pay a visit to the tombstone of both Sujo [Great Grand Master] King Yang and Kongco [Ancestor] Tjia Fun Tjiao [Last Chief Instructor of Black Flag Secret Society]?
As part of this trip, we could do this. We will get to visit the local kungfu schools and meet masters from different styles in the nearby area where we travel. You will be amazed at how much of the traditional system/style still exists, even after the political ban on Chinese culture in Indonesia in the past.
And to top that off,
while visiting to these different places, we still get to practice
kungfu with Master Lin and Grandmaster Tio.
Remember, this trip is possible. You could see and do all of these
things and more, but an opportunity like this does not come every day.
In fact, time is running out to decide if you're one of the few going
with us. You only have a few more weeks to decide.
Contact me at Shaolin
Kungfu Center by calling (540) 850-9988 or emailing
engchunkun@gmail.com to reserve your space today!
Don't miss this opportunity to experience Indonesia for yourself with
your own eyes. During our trip, we'll be staying in the most exotic
hotels and eating fabulous banquets and traditional Indonesian food for
most of your meals!
And we'll also have time to experience the best of modern & traditional
Indonesia, too. If you are the kind of person who loves shopping, then
you will love all of the shops available to you. The prices are
unbelievable and you'll probably want to pack only half-way to leave
room for all the great things you'll find in Indonesia!
All you'll need to bring is an open mind, an empty stomach, and spending
money for souvenirs!
We’ve set the tentative Dates for: March 19th to April 1st, 2010. If you want to go with us, please RSVP to engchunkun@gmail.com so we can lock in the dates as soon as possible.
And Instructors… give
us a call or email and we can give you more information on potential
fund raisers for your school and students, and how you could even earn a
free trip.
Normally a trip like this can cost upwards of $4500+… and while the
economy is turbulent, we’ve negotiated a special rate of only $2899 per
person, all inclusive – including food, travel, and lodging from JFK New
York International Airport to Indonesia roundtrip.
Sincerely,
Suhu Lin
